BUTCHER BLOCK GRILL DEBUTS NEW MENU
Butcher Block Grill, the all natural steakhouse located in the Fountains Center in Boca Raton, has just launched a new menu.
New appetizers include French Onion Flat Bread, Mom’s Meatball,
Polenta and Crab Won Tons, Mole’ Frit, PEI Mussels, Corn and Crab
Chowder, Boston Bib Salad and Fried Green Tomatoes.
New entrees include Rack of Lamb, Beef & Veal Bolognaise, Braised
Short Ribs, Seared Black Grouper, Grilled Mahi and Shrimp and
Eggplant Française. New sides include Sweet Potato with Spiced Cream
and a new Creamed Spinach recipe.
Butcher Block Grill only uses the highest quality 100% natural aged
beef, along with fresh poultry, shellfish and locally grown produce.
“We combine all natural ingredients with a unique fusion of
Mediterranean flavors and American steakhouse classics to create a
memorable and healthy dining experience,” Mike Zikri, who operates
the restaurant, said.

New York City Street Cart – Lamb Kofta, Falafel Hummus Tzatziki, Warm Pita
Polenta & Crab Won Tons with roasted truffle butter
Fried Green Tomatoes with Arugula, Radicchio, Roasted Red Peppers, Goat Cheese and Brown Sugar Balsamic Vinaigrette.
Moms Meatball – Beef and Veal, Herb Whipped Ricotta and San Marzano Tomato Sauce
Beef and Veal Bolognaise – Rigatoni Pasta and Herb Whipped Ricotta
Pan Roasted Salmon with Lemon Spiked Farro, Shiitake Mushrooms, Bok Choy and Blood Orange Reduction
Braised Shortrib with Cauliflower Puree, Braised Fennel & Blistered Cherry Tomatoes
Goat Cheese Cheesecake
Everything was so delicious, it is difficult to choose which dishes I enjoyed most. IF I did have to choose.. I would say that my top 3 are the won ton, bolognaise and the short rib.
The restaurant is located at Fountains Center, which is owned by Zvi
Schwarzman/TJAC Development. The restaurant and the retail
businesses at Fountains Center are operated by Mike Zikri.
Butcher Block Grill is open seven days a week, Monday through Friday,
11:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m.
until 11:00 p.m. Happy Hour is twice a day, from 5 – 7 p.m. and again
from 9 p.m. to closing. In addition, Monday night features a 12 oz.-16
oz. Prime Rib dinner for $20. Ladies Night is every Thursday from 7
p.m.-10 p.m.– ladies receive one complimentary house drink, the
restaurant features $5 bar bites and has a live DJ that evening. The
restaurant also has daily $9 lunch specials and brunch is served on
Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The restaurant has been chosen by Open Table as a Diner’s Choice Award Winner and was named Restaurant of the Year by the Palm Beach Post.
The Butcher Block is located at 7000 West Camino Real, just west of the intersection of Powerline Road and West Camino Real in Boca Raton.
