The Tin Muffin Cafe, a lunch-only spot in East Boca Raton that makes you feel like you are not in Kansas Boca any more.
Be sure to check the wall for the daily specials:
Order up!
Shrimp Salad:
I like how they used large shrimp instead of those tiny ones. The produce is crisp & fresh! We had the honey mustard although the roasted red pepper dressing sounded really interesting too. Guess I will have to try it next time because I will be back for sure.
Salmon Salad:
The salmon was so fresh and delicious. Even though it was only one strand, I liked the asparagus on top as the finishing touch. A lemon-coconut muffin on the side.
Fresh baked Mango Muffins:
A muffin is included with the entrée salads.
Time for dessert – Banana Cake:
This cake was so scrumptious, its not to be missed during your visit. All the cakes and muffins are baked fresh daily.
Chocolate Brownie Cake:
If you need to use the restroom, don’t hesitate, in fact you should make it a point to go check it out. Not something I typically would comment on, but with a built in fireplace and magically fairyland vibe, its mentionable.
I would highly recommend The Tin Muffin Cafe for both locals and visitors of the area. It’s been around for 20 years and frankly I cannot believe this was my first visit. Say hello to the owner Philip. After speaking with him, it makes sense why the food is as good as it is, his passion for home made eats in transposed into the cooking process.
