III Forks located in The Village of Gulfstream Park, has been at this location ever since Gulfstream was established 5 years ago. It is a great place to dine for date night, celebrations or just because.
His & Hers
This beer is a local Florida brew called Swamp Ape IPA, and with quite a high percentage of alcohol you may be feeling buzzed after just 1 bottle.
The Intense Martini – Belvedere Unfiltered Vodka, 1888 Hand-Pressed Olive Juice, bacon and blue cheese-stuffed olives.
This Martini was fabulous and with such carefully selected ingredients, its safe to call this a crafted cocktail.
Seafood Medley – Shrimp Cocktail, Crabcake & Seared Scallop:
Seared Scallop with house made bacon jam.
Crabcake with creole beurre blanc sauce.
Shrimp Cocktail
I like how the shrimp portion of the seafood medley was thoughtfully executed, one shrimp with a mustard and the other with cocktail sauce.
Lobster Bisque
Not a bad bisque, just not my favorite. This is a sherry based soup with a little kick to it and while it still offers some creaminess, I like my lobster bisque to be ultra creamy.
Signature III Forks Salad – toasted pecans, blue cheese, Granny Smith apples with a maple pecan vinaigrette.
This may look like a simple salad to you, trust me its special. In fact, it is a James Beard Award winning salad. The dressing is nutty and sweet, a great way balance the tangy green apple. It is refreshing for the last days of summer and welcoming to the upcoming fall season, but really delicious regardless of the time of year.
18 Oz USDA Prime Bone In Ribeye with Blue Cheese Crown and roasted garlic, bordelaise.
Bursting with flavor! You can also opt for the boneless Ribeye which will be a 22 oz portion.
Off-the-Cob Cream Corn
Hands down the best creamed corn I’ve ever had, I love that the texture of the kernels are still crunchy despite the preconceived notions about creamed corn I had telling me otherwise. As our waiter Fred pointed out, this side dish is almost dessert-like. Well, that can be a good thing when you are eating something savory like steak. Speaking of good things, did I mention how good the creamed corn at III Forks is?!
Poached Pear with orange mascarpone and hazelnut brittle.
This item is a recent addition to the III Forks menu and it is tasty & texturally sound with all the components working together to please the palate. My only issue here was that I could do without the liquid at the bottom of the dish.
Crème Brûlée made with Grand Marnier Orange Liqueur
Always fun to find a spin on a classic, especially when it works well. The citrus helps cut some of the sweetness from this rich dessert.
Here’s what it looks like without the berries, they are lovely but I took them off so I can get a look at the drool-worthy brûlée.
Chocolate Layer Cake with Toasted Coconut
Chocolate, enough said.
