Looking for some vegan eats in Miami? Here is the spot for you.

On my first visit, in February 2014, I ordered the Aztec Sun Temple Salad, as a wrap. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!

Large Lentil/Beet patty, Avocado, Plantain, Sautéed Onions, Greens, Pesto & Chipotle sauce

Second visit was April 2014 and I was very tempted to order the Aztec dish, again, but I decided try out another wrap on the menu:

Black Beans/Quinoa, Lentil Meat, Sautéed Onion, Onion, Plantain, Pico de gallo, Bell Pepper, Daiya Cheese, Avocado

This wrap was also good, but the Aztec sun temple dish was my favorite of the two. Closer look:

My friend Shay ordered the raw wrap, she enjoyed it. We had never heard of walnut meat before, but we agreed it is a great alternative to processed soy.

AKA The Nori Wrap. Spicy Walnut Meat, Carrot, Zucchini, Tomato, Avocado, Greens, Sprouts (Mango optional at no charge)

Closer look:

My friend Daniela got THE GENIROLL LENTIL, which was similar to the Mental Lentil but wrapped in Nori instead.

Lentil Meat, Avocado, Daiya Cheese, House Sauce, Spinach, Cucumber, Zucchini, Carrots, Tomato wrapped in Nori & cut into Sushi bite size pieces

Ok- so you are not a vegan and wondering if this place will be filling enough for you? The answer is YES. Just because it is not animal based protein, doesn’t mean you wont leave satisfied. Not only because there are plant based sources of protein, but also because the portion sizes are substantial. Also, Choices has some delicious sounding smoothie/juice options that I must come back for. Both visits I ate at the Brickell location however Choices Cafe recently added a second location downtown. In fact, TODAY – Earth Day 2014, is the grand opening for a third location: Choices Kitchen! See the link below for the event details:
