The Ultimate Movie Experience Offers New Special Menu Feature: Smoky Bro Pizza from Guest Chef Elizabeth Falkner in Collaboration with iPic’s James Beard Award-Winning Chef Sherry Yard

WHO: iPic Theaters, the nation’s leading moviegoing experience, is serving up a wholesomely delicious new pie: Elizabeth Falkner’s Smoky Bro Pizza.

WHAT: Created by pizza chef extraordinaire Elizabeth Falkner and iPic’s James Beard Award-winning Chef Sherry Yard, the farm-fresh pizza is made with San Marzano tomato sauce, smoked mozzarella, broccolini, garlic and Fresno chili peppers. Moviegoers can watch Falkner and Yard make the dish on iPic Now, an iPic-produced editorial segment, which airs on screen before their movie and features a signature guest chef series hosted by Yard, Guests can order the iPic special menu feature to enjoy at their seat during the movie.

This month’s iPic Now series features Chef Elizabeth Falkner, a multiple award-winning chef and James Beard Foundation Award nominee. Once named Pastry Chef of the Year by Bon Appétit, Best Pastry chef by San Francisco Magazine and Rising Star Chef by San Francisco Chronicle, Falkner is no stranger to great recognition. A lover of culinary competition, the chef has competed in multiple contests. In 2012, Falkner won First Prize at the World Pizza Championships in Naples, Italy with her innovative “Finocchio Flower Power” pizza. She is also the author of Demolition Desserts and Cooking Off The Clock.
