Get ready to sip, sample, mix, mingle, and CELEBRATE! The American Lung Association is gearing up to host the 21st Annual Las Olas Wine and Food Festival (“LOWFF”) Friday, April 29, 2016, with a fresh new look and a fun filled evening on the famous Las Olas Boulevard!

Presented by Breakthru Beverage, New Amsterdam Vodka, Woodford Reserve, and William Hill Winery, this year’s Las Olas Wine & Food festival, benefiting American Lung Association, will be one for the books as thousands of foodies from all over join together to stroll down the famous Las Olas Boulevard and enjoy the experience of the all new #LOWFF.  President of Breakthru Beverage South Region Bob Drinon stated, “The Las Olas Wine & Food Festival has been a great event since it started, and we’ve been involved from the beginning.  We’re excited to take the event to the next level with the addition of Ashley and CI Management, we know it’s going to be an experience like never before”.

With the flash of a fashionable LOWFF credential, guests will gain access into the private pavilions along each block that will be made up of restaurants, wine sampling stations, MYO interactive experiences, musical entertainment, and more. Spanning over 4 blocks, 45 wineries and 60 restaurants will be taking attendees to new heights as they provide a one of kind showcase of the culinary talents of South Florida’s finest. Get your taste buds ready to get wined and dined on one of the only nights Las Olas Boulevard will close down to pedestrians and overwhelm your palate.

This year, the American Lung Association has partnered with the team at CI Management, creators of the South Beach Seafood Festival, Chef Showdown, and producers of the South of Spice, to create an unforgettable evening for the 2016 LOWFF event. With those choice credentials, guests will additionally gain access into the luxurious side street lounges created by LOWFF’s hosting sponsors, to include New Amsterdam Vodka, featuring the all new LAS OLAS MULES, a South Florida take on the famous Moscow Mule. Each street will have a little flair as guests will enjoy live music, DJs, culinary and mixology demonstrations, interactive retail displays and more.

And just so the foodies are aware, the fun doesn’t stop there. Year 21 will showcase all new experiences to allow attendees to not only sip and sample, but mingle with friends and root on South Florida’s cream of the crop. Get ready for the first ever BEST OF THE BEST Restaurant Competitions on the main stage kitchen featuring four different contests highlighting cuisines from various dueling restaurants. An expert panel of judges from Miami’s Top Foodie media personalities will decide who will be named BEST OF THE BEST., but not without the help of the LOWFF top connoisseurs. Each category will feature 2 chefs going head to head in live competitions, which include American Cuisine, Pub Grub, Italian Cuisine, and a Seafoodies Delight.

With a mission to fight against the third leading cause of death in the United States, your support of this event will assist in funding research and educational programming for the American Lung Association (ALA) so join the American Lung Association as they provide a breathe of fresh air for the culinary inclined.

Additional events and programs will take place throughout the next few months to prepare the South Florida community for what will be an experience to remember.

Early Bite release tickets are already sold out, so be sure to get your tickets while supplies last because credentials are necessary to gain entrance into festival zones. Ticket price now starts at $100 and VIP Tickets have been released starting at $150 while supplies last. The event will be held from 7:30PM-10:30PM, but if you are a VIP, gain access to the festival grounds starting at 6:30PM with additional entrance into the private VIP Culinary Pavilion.
