Grille 401, Fort Lauderdale’s hottest downtown dining destination, is pleased to announce the launch of its new weekend brunch! Available Saturday and Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Grille 401’s weekend brunch will feature appetizers, traditional breakfast dishes, salads, sandwiches, desserts and a bottomless Mimosa and Bloody Mary Bar, as well as, a special kids menu. The restaurant has also introduced an array of new flatbreads to its dinner menu.
Grille 401’s new brunch menu will feature seven brunch entrees such as Shrimp & Grits, made with jumbo shrimp, corn salsa, Smithfield ham, asparagus and light creole sauce served with stone-ground white cheddar grits. The Crab Cake Benedict features Maryland style cakes on homemade biscuits with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce and grilled asparagus served with crispy home fries. Other options include Chicken & Waffles, with Southern fried chicken, made-from-scratch waffles, warm maple syrup and stone-ground white cheddar grits or the Brunch Burrito, stuffed with scrambled eggs, white cheddar cheese, sautéed peppers and onions, Applewood-smoked bacon and chipotle mayo served with crispy home fries. The kids’ brunch menu will offer four different entrees all for $7, including Scrambled Eggs & Bacon served with warm biscuits and Blueberry Waffles with crispy home fries.

Shrimp & Grits – Jumbo Shrimp, Corn Salsa, Creole Sauce, Stone Ground White Cheddar Grits
The shrimp was cooked nicely with the perfect amount of spice.
The grits were creamy and delicious….mmm
Steak Benedict – Certified Angus Beef Tenderloin, Homemade Biscuits, Poached Eggs, Hollandaise Sauce, Grilled Asparagus and Crispy Home Fried
I’m usually not a home fries person- but these are seriously amazing! Loved the texture.
Steak & Egg Flatbread – Woodfired Filet Mignon, Scrambled Eggs Cheddar Cheese, Andouille Sausage, Red Pepper Drizzle
So yummy! I really liked the combination of flavors on this flat bread! Also, a good amount of eggs.
Popular menu items from the restaurant’s existing lunch and dinner menus, including appetizers such as the Grilled Artichokes and American Kobe Beef Sliders will also be available during brunch. Lighter entrée options include the Stacked Tomato Salad, with locally grown tomatoes, red onion, fresh mozzarella, basil, sundried tomato oil and balsamic glaze and the Veggie Burger, housemade with brown rice, mushrooms, and beets topped with Havarti Cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mustard and mayo on a challah bun.

What a beautiful plate! I enjoyed the very thin cut on the onions.

No beans? Interesting. Overall I thought it was tasty – nice flavor combinations going on.
Weekend brunch cocktail specials will offer various options including a $15 Bottomless Bloody Mary Bar featuring Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Guests can walk over to the Bloody Mary Bar and select from a variety of toppings to dress up their cocktails. The Bottomless Mimosa Bar will offer two options – $15 Make your Mark Bottomless featuring La Marca Prosecco and the $30 Imperial Bottomless featuring Moet Imperial Brut Champagne. +Specialty brunch cocktails!
New to the dinner menu are four flatbreads, including the Margherita made with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, pesto oil and roasted garlic; the Short Rib made with caramelized onions, roasted peppers, mushrooms, Gruyere cheese and roasted pepper sauce; the BBQ Chicken featuring pulled roasted chicken, homemade barbeque sauce, chopped peanuts, cilantro and red onions; and the Shrimp Scampi, topped with Gulf shrimp, garlic, pesto oil, shallots, fresh basil and Parmesan cheese. The restaurant has also added a new stuffed pork chop to the dinner menu.

My favorite was the Shrimp Scampi although I haven’t tried the short rib one, yet!
Power Hour features a buy one, get one free drink special and half off bar bites from 9 p.m. – 10 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. Grille 401, known for its innovative culinary cocktails, invites guests to take advantage of this new great deal! Some fan favorites from Grille 401’s craft cocktail menu (cocktails $12) includes The Red Cougar Stolichnaya Vodka, strawberries, basil, simple syrup, lemon juice.
