Anyone who has visited Burlock Coast, the celebrated Fort Lauderdale restaurant located oceanfront at The Ritz Carlton in Fort Lauderdale, knows that a dedication to smart sourcing is a key component to its delicious food and drink offerings. A farm- and hook-to-table ethos touches everything, from Chef Gavin Pera’s cuisine to the amazing products sold in its marketplace. To commemorate its one year anniversary, the restaurant is taking its dedication to freshness one step further with the launch of its own Farmer’s Market.
“Using the best and freshest fruits, vegetables, and proteins available is part of Burlock’s DNA and a big part of our success.” says Chef Pera.
Located inside the restaurant and launching THIS Saturday, November 12 at 9 AM, the market will offer a bevy of amazing, artisanal products and vendors.
Highlights will include 3 Sisters Farm; Tamer Harpke Farm; Hammock Hallow; Keez Beez; Bootlager Beer; Fwaygo Rum; SMAKS Bespoke Teas; The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Fort Lauderdale; Memories; Island Company and more. Burlock Coast will also have their own signature booth, selling savory and sweet items.
DJ Carsonicboom will be on-hand spinning from 11 AM to 3 PM, when the market will close. There will be raffles prizes galore for market-goers, as well.
The festivities and music will continue with an open-to-the-public Anniversary Happy Hour at 5 PM. Burlock’s Happy Hour, classically only Monday through Friday, is a buzzy affair in Fort Lauderdale so a Saturday edition, complete with $1 oysters, is sure to pack the house. Beyond the oyster special, Happy Hour includes $6 specialty cocktails, house white or red wine and BC Bootlager, Burlock’s proprietary brew. Also, $6 bar bites, from spicy avocado tomatillo dip to rock shrimp fry, among others.
For those that can’t get enough of the Farmer’s Market, it will return the second Saturday of every month. While you’re there, check out the market for breakfast or sit down for brunch!

Here is what you can expect for brunch:
BC Bottomless drinks MIMOSAS // BLOODY MARYS // RUM PUNCH // BEER | Oysters
PORK BELLY Truffle grits | two eggs | smoked cheese
I really like how the pork belly is very meaty, sometimes it can be too flabby. Those truffle grits though: LIFE. Do yourself a favor and order a side of truffle grits with whatever else you decide to order!
HUEVOS RANCHEROS chorizo | two eggs | black beans | green chili sauce
Absolutely delicious! I’m usually not a salsa-on-my-eggs person, but this was so good. A lot of my enjoyment for it had to do with the chorizo, which isn’t visible in this photo because its hidden underneath all the goodies on top.
ZAKS BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST SANDWICH Jam | candied Pecans | Rum butter| citrus cream cheese
YUMO, this stuffed french toast is the jam (and has jam on it). The citrus cream chesse brought a nice balance to this rich dish. The rum butter is so Burlock Coast-y of them!
Keylime Pie & Strawberry cheesecake await you! What are you waiting for!?
