On our recent visit to new Ruggero’s, we enjoyed a pairing dinner that highlighted dishes developed under the culinary direction of new Executive Chef Giovanni Filippone. Check out our experience below!
Busquetta Alla Burratina
This fresh burrata bruschetta with roasted tomatoes, basil and extra virgin olive oil was a delightful way to kick off the evening! I might have eaten more than 1 despite knowing there was plenty more food on the way. 😉
We had the pleasure of tasting wines provided by Ellman Family Vineyards, of which is owned by two local Ft. Lauderdale brothers.
Melanzane Napoletana
Yum – an eggplant stack lightly breaded with fresh mozzarella, oven roasted tomatoes, lemon-basil pesto and balsamic glaze. We appreciated this version of an eggplant stack meets caprese salad, a match made in heaven!
Seafood Parppardelle
Shrimp and white wine truffle sauce.. yes please!
Rigatoni alla Bolognese
This rich treat was equip with porcini muchrooms, bechamel sauce and parmigiano reggiano cheese.
House-made assorted desserts and a cappucino to wash it all down, 🙂
Ruggero’s is now open daily Monday-Saturday for diner at 5 pm. Connect with the restaurant on Facebook!
