Brunch at Tanzy Restaurant in iPic Theaters, Boca Raton – The South Florida Sage

We finally had a chance to check out brunch at the Award-winning Tanzy, located inside iPic Theaters of Boca Raton’s Mizner Park. Tanzy is a social, garden-fresh dining destination offering a modern take on traditional Italian cuisine with a bar program by Master Bartender and Advanced Sommelier Adam Seger. Last time we visited Tanzy, it was for dinner (very good). Happy to report that brunch did not disappoint! DECADENT FRENCH TOAST – thick sliced brioche stuffed with farmers market berries &
whipped mascarpone
O-M-G is that not the most amazing looking french toast you’ve ever seen? Decedent is a certainly a great way to describe it. The corn flake coating contributed a crunchy texture to complement the soft brioche and marscarpone cream inside. The berries, powdered sugar and maple syrup brought this dish together.
STEAK & EGGS – skirt steak with two eggs and beefsteak tomatoes
That steak though.. really great flavor. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. This dish was like a Benedict but without the hollandaise. Instead, we had the egg yolk to fill that need. They do offer a benedict too, if that’s what you’re in the mood for.
CRISPY LATKE FRIES – apple sauce, sour cream
Big props on these, Tanzy! Latke fries, how awesome (and #soooboca)! More than just a novelty, they were actually really tasty, too.
RAZ BERRI – Grey Goose, Chambord, Yuzu Luxe, raspberry syrup, prosecco
MELON SPRITZ – Grey Goose Le Melon, fresh cantaloupe, Pestato Italiano, Sprite, fresh mint
You can’t go to Tanzy with out having one of their cocktails! These Liquid Nitrogen Cocktails (-196°C) doubled as dessert for us.
