Pan-Asian Sunday Brunch Feast at Tanuki in Miami Beach – The SoFla Sage

Tanuki Restaurant serves Japanese, Chinese and southeast Asian specialities in the heart of Miami Beach.

I recently tried the brunch feast at Tanuki, here’s what it includes:

  • A welcome cocktail
  • Bottomless mimosas and wine (2 hours)
  • A buffet-style selection of Pan-Asian dishes
  • A choice of main course
  • Chef’s dessert for the table

Check out my experience below!

I chose some of my favorites from the buffet such as salmon rolls and crispy tuna rice.

Cold items from the buffet including assorted sushi.

You can also choose from hot items at the buffet such as wings and pork buns.

Let’s have a close up on that pork bun, shall we?

TORI – Nikkey Coffey Gin, Fresh Lime Juice, St. Germain, Cucumber, Simple Syrup, Egg White
OHIGAN – Togorashi Chili infused Vida Mezcal, Mirin, Pineapple, Black Pepper, Lime juice, Smoked Agave.

Brunch includes 1 welcome cocktail per person PLUS bottomless mimosas and/or wine! Don’t worry, there is a live DJ playing music to fuel your day drinking. I mean c’mon, it’s South Beach after all!

Mochi, Fresh Fruit, and Pink Peppercorn Ice Cream

Yes, you read that right: pink peppercorn. And yes, it was good!

Sage Says: I don’t usually discuss prices in my reviews. But for $58, I was pretty impressed. The brunch feast is reasonably priced considering what it includes (especially in Miami) and is great for celebrations such as birthdays. I also like that is it is only part buffet and and the rest is table service. Sometimes buffets can be hit or miss. At Tanuki, you’re guaranteed to have a fresh entree and dessert brought to your table, while helping yourself to unlimited sushi and sipping on bottomless drinks. #SageSips
