We recently took a visit to celebrated chef Paula DaSilva’s new waterfront restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Artisan Beach House. We enjoyed craft cocktails and menu highlights by Paula while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the beautiful ocean front property.
(L) Fog Cutter
LOCAL WAHOO CEVICHE carrot juice, fresno chili, yucca chips
SHISHITO PEPPERS bonito flakes, salt
Don’t worry – the peppers are not spicy!
OCTOPUS vadouvan carrots, yogurt, cilantro sauce
Great texture, an important characteristic for octopus. Nice flavor, too.
ENCRUSTED TUNA
This was a really interesting take on tuna, I loved that it was encrusted with spices.
DIRTY RICE anson mills grits, chorizo, red peas
Lot’s of flavor in this side dish – possibly not the most picture worthy, but good.
TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CAKE hazelnut mousse, orange jam
Oh yes, that’s what I’m talking about! I love a good mousse, make it hazelnut, layer it on a cake and I’m SO IN!
CHURROS WITH NUTELLA DIPPING SAUCE
Churro BITES? Yes please!
Guests can enjoy open-air seating on the restaurant’s expansive terrace while taking in sprawling ocean views, hang out in the bar and lounge, or take in the coastal vintage décor of the main dining room for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
